Sisters in Strength: A Single Mothers and Widows Ministry

In partnership with Andretti Indoor Go-Karting and Games Katy, we will be awarding select Mothers and their children a celebration, complete with food, arcade games, indoor go-kart racing and more! Event date is Saturday, Apr 6, 2023. Applicants and their children must be available on that day, there is no rescheduling option.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Single Mom or Widow residing in the Katy, Fulshear, Richmond, and Brookshire areas of Texas
  • Be available to participate, with your children, on April 6, 2024
  • Must complete and submit application per instructions

  • Application opens February 9, 2024
  • Application closes at 5PM March, 20, 2024
  • Selected families notified on March 25, 2024
  • Selected families must Accept/RSVP by Noon March 28, 2024 or be disqualified
  • Alternate families notified on March 28, 2024
  • Mother’s Day 2024: Family Fun Day is on Saturday, April 6th, 2024

Photo Shoot in partnership with Colt Melrose Photography. The Melrose experience included professional make-up, a photo shoot with two outfit changes, and refreshments.

How You Can Help

The J&D Kidwell Legacy Grant is designed to support Single Mothers and Widows during the Holiday Season. It is awarded in November, on an annual basis. This grant is specifically available to Single Moms and Widows in the Katy, Fulshear, Richmond, and Brookshire areas of Texas.

Qualifications:

  • Single Mom or Widow residing in the Katy, Fulshear, Richmond, and Brookshire areas of Texas
  • Be available to receive the grant, in person on Nov 2, 2024
  • Must complete and submit application per instructions
